Just in time for shorter fall days, we’re releasing our third iteration of Mocha Rhino Suit, our imperial milk stout aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, blended with coffee, and conditioned on cocoa nibs! We know what you’re thinking: A 12 percent imperial stout at this hour? Come on Alesong?! To accentuate the barrel flavors in our next stout blend, we decided to add 200 pounds of toasted coconut to our signature bourbon barrel-aged Rhino Suit base. It adds depth to the roasty flavor, builds upon the silky, creamy mouthfeel, and emboldens the coconut flavor already present from oak.

Very complex, intensely delicious. Oct 19, 2020 Rhino suit was one of the first spirits aged beer we released here at Alesong back in 2016, and although we’ve made subtle tweaks each time around, that same rich and delicious milk stout has been a favorite that we’ve returned to again and again.
